It was so, so hard to choose just a few photos to share for the sneak peek from this wedding. It was just such a beautiful Autumn day here. So beautiful in fact that the groomsmen (who were imported directly from the UK) had to take a breather in an air-conditioned car to cool down!
Ellie & Oli had planned an intimate late afternoon ceremony at Caversham House so they decided to meet before their ceremony for a “first look” session to allow for plenty of time to take some beautiful photos at a second location. First look sessions are always favourites of mine. The day just seems to flow with a more relaxed pace. It’s always a bit of a challenging idea for the bridal couple to see each other before the ceremony but I have never had a couple regret doing a first look and I have had couples who regretted not doing one.
I had such fun shooting this wedding. I love wedding photos in the bush and both Whiteman Park and Caversham House are such beautiful locations!
We even had time to sneak out after dark for some quick sparkler photos!
Ellie and Oli thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your day. I hope you love your sneak peek!
